Abstract
The technology of processing medicinal plants represents an essential field in obtaining effective and safe phytotherapeutic products. This technology involves a series of steps such as harvesting, drying, grinding, extraction and preservation of active principles. Each step has an important role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of bioactive substances in plants. In addition, the choice of processing methods directly influences the stability of active compounds and the therapeutic efficiency of the final product. This paper analyzes the main technological processes applied in the processing of medicinal plants, highlighting their advantages and limitations, with the aim of optimizing the use of natural resources in the pharmaceutical and food industries.
